May has been one helluva month!
With prom earlier this month/my last post, went on 2 trips to HK and Krabi, graduation ceremony, work here and there, and pretty much wasting money.
It had been a pretty happening last 2 weeks but the amount of outflow of cash was exchanged for that fun.
Right after the last post I had, I went to Hong Kong for about 10 days or so for a purpose! Yes, I know I do go HK every year, but I am getting familiar with the place and it's easy to navigate.
Anyhow, I went over with grandma, and the first day was fruitful because I managed to find the watch I wanted.
Didn't post this anywhere because I haven't wore it until the watch I wore to HK was having problems.
I LOVE THIS WATCH, I CAN'T EVEN SHOW HOW HAPPY I AM.
That day was also good because I went to have peking duck!
Second day, I was having a post spending to much fever, that I just went out to the streets to window shop for a bit.
Ended the day with dinner and going back home to let grandma rest.
Spent the next few days having only meals nearby and buying groceries from supermarts to cook.
Even decided to make some Oreo Cheesecake because we had the feel to.
Not bad for a first attempt, I must say - feeling satisfied like never.
Weekend was a fun because I managed to buy some stuffs and have some good food!
The best dim sum I had ever had in my life over at City Hall's Maxim.
A queue worth waiting for, and a price worth paying for.
Going earlier would be better because you wouldn't have to wait then, but I am so lazy these days it's tough for me to get up early.
Went over to Discovery Bay for the first time and had some helluva portion of western food!
I am so sure that at that rate I ate those few days, I was bound to put on some weight, and it sure did.
Brandon came over on Monday and the first thing we did, was sleep.
Or rather very much for me because he arrived at 6 in the morning. LOL.
Grabbed lunch and we headed out for day 1 of shopping, for him rather.
For the 5 days he was there, all we did was eat and shop and eat and shop.
I must say it was inevitable that we will put on some extra weight at the rate that we were eating.
But it was all worth the gaining of an extra few pounds. :)
Bought and ticked a lot of things off my list, which also means I had burned another hole in my pocket.
On our last second day, Clinton and friends came along and we went for a good dinner that night.
Beggar's chicken on the left and once again, peking duck on the right.
Beggar's chicken had an interesting way to it where we were given a real hammer to break the shell of it.
Had photos taken too and was given a small metal hammer - which I later on hit my mom's toe with it by accident and had a good laugh.
Hong Kong's skyline is amazing as always but the amount of Chinese nationals ruining the beauty of the place is limitless.
Ended our last night with some good dessert and chilling at a random bar.
Last day, we had a good amount of dim sum before we left.
One helluva table filled with 30 over plates of goodness.
New hair cut, new top and a crazy discounted pair of RL jeans I never thought I would own, back to SG.
Back to SG and went straight to work because this place is revolving all over money, just to survive.
Had my Sunday spent with my lover bunch over a crazy meal celebrating Matin's 20th :)
And dinner because it has been 2 weeks since I last met him.
A feast!
My PMS is really annoying at times, and it even annoys me! Like I always over react but when I look back, I realised it's stupid.
I guess that's how I'm so good at ruining things, letting emotions override me.
Nonetheless, my 10 days in Hong Kong and the weekend that followed was one well spent.
I shall update about Krabi another time because I just got back from there about 12 hours ago and I have work in a bit. :(
Tough life, next week's gonna be hell as well working for 6 days between 2 jobs.
So, goodnight errbadi!
