Disclaimer: A post for myself to remember in the future. Ignore if you like.
I've mentioned a couple times that I was busy preparing for something big in June, and here's the post!
It all began in January that I decided to do this.
It wasn't an easy feat to think of it, but I squeezed up 21 presents to give the birthday boy man.
Started off the list with the usual shirt, pants, boxers, video, cake, etc.
When I got up to 15 presents, it was starting to be an issue.
I must say, for a guy, it is not as easy to get 21 things that could actually be useful.
Yes, you can always give non-practical things but point is, it's non-practical, and useless!
I'm not saying that all my 21 ideas are practical, but I tried my best.

To side track a little, we did a mini celebration for him over a buffet lunch with his family.
1 man and 4 ladies.

So, here's the 21 presents:
Starting with the usual, shirt, pants, boxers, socks, belt, wallet, cologne, earpiece and bow-tie.
To be specific, floral shirt, sky blue pants, dog print boxers, superman socks, leather belt, Picard wallet,
Hugo Boss cologne, Sonic Gear earpiece, and a simple black on maroon bow tie.
Now, that's the 9 common things. And for the other 12 items.... well...
12: Energy Pack
This was just a simple bag of items put together to make his army days easier.
With Soya Bean, Hello Panda, snacks, sweets.
11: Melon Milk
In my defence, this drink is nowhere to be found and I had actually googled for it.
I got this because he really loves it and buys it in camp all the time.
10: Turtle Onesie
I got this because he loves turtles (unique in his own way).
And.... because it is totally cute and I have got myself a Elmo onesie.
Did some DIY things for him...
09: Motivational Jar
Tacky as it sounds, yes it's for real.
I figured that I won't be and can't be there for him in time to come, so I had this made.
To continue to push him on for his army trainings and whatnot.
08: Handmade Passport Holder
Measured and coloured to his favourite colours, made him a simple holder with a card-sized photo corners.
Used felt material to make and yeah, nothing much. :)
07: Video
Yes, cliche as it is, and common as it is, I did a video.
It's a journey of our times together since he first decided to put on a wig. Watch at your risk! Please don't judge me for my shaky hands. Be warned that it's a 7 minute video, so avoid if you want.
06: Handmade Oreo Cheesecake
He loves cheesecake, from what I learnt, and so does his family. (I guess it runs in them)
So I decided to make one for him and one for his family.
05: Wishes Booklet
I did the best I could at stalking him in all possible platforms, even to the extend of taking his phone.
Gathered as many of his friends, and got them to write their wishes for him, and I collated them all into this book!
04: GTA V
I was initially planning to get him Watch Dogs, but this idiot decided to torrent it and there goes my idea.
So with barely anything else in mind, I told him straight up and he actually laughed at me!
I then decided firmly that I'll get him GTA V when it comes out (computer version), and had warned him not to buy.
03: P.Osh Brownie
This is my all time favourite brownie and I got him a small one so he could have it with his family.
I didn't actually planned on giving him this ahead of the rest of the presents, but I did a mini surprise for him.
His mom also came home to give him a ukelele that same night of his nights out. (A day after his birthday)
02: Lunch Date
Brought him to PS Cafe, yes I know, it's my 3rd time in a month or so! Haha.
But he said he wouldn't go for no occasion, so here's an occasion and I brought him there.
01: BBQ Surprise
And finally, for the huge suspense I had him at, and lied to him for so many weeks which had him thinking...
Texting all his friends and getting as many people as I could to come, and with help from his friends, it was possible!
On a Sunday evening, got to surprise him with all his friends appearing at the BBQ pit!
This is the only group photo I have.
But I would like to thank everyone who came that night, even though I know none of you will be seeing this post. HAHA.
Am so thankful for the help from Mat, Serea, PY, Amanda, Joey for the BBQ and other stuff.
And for the rest of the people who helped me get the wishes as well.
A great big THANK YOU to all the people who made it possible and made it that night despite your busy schedules.
Also, for tolerating my constant rush and whatnot, wouldn't be possible without all your help!
And that sums up my great big preparation for consecutive surprises I had for his 21st.
Love the times you have given me.
19 June 2014, Happy 21st Birthday, you have been surprised.
