Immersion Programme!

This is a really delayed post cos I went there three weeks back!
It was a really great experience, had fun and also bonded a little bit more with 03 :)

Disclaimer: It is going to be a long long post about the 6 day trip. Photo heavy.

"
The trip started off with a wet morning and had to walk up SB’s hill in the drizzle with my crazy heavy luggage.
Reaching there, we checked in and had our first buffet lunch!

Then we started on FBM lecture, all fresh and eager to learn. HA HA.
During coffee break, gave Kim a sudden birthday cake surprise that even Alison and I got shocked! LOL.
Had the cake and even more cakes over the break! It was as if we had never ate our entire life!!!

Continued with the rest of the day, having more lectures in the Pendetta which was freezing cold!
A short break given before we met for dinner at the Japanese Restaurant there!
Dinner for that night was a 6 course meal, almost a buffet equivalent.
And because I don't really have SO MUCH GOOD FOOD in Singapore, I eat very little and have a tiny ass appetite.
But on that first day over there, I was exploding since lunch but I just keep on eating!
It was as though the food were just free!

Spent the rest of the night over at the bowling alley and enjoying ourselves before crashing our rooms to have a good night's rest.

Waking up a little earlier on the second day, over at Ishwara, we have an assortment of food all placed out and it was a buffet breakfast!
So extreme right?!

This is only a section of ALL the food available!!!
Then we had a crash course on the setting of a table in a fine dining restaurant cos we were too lousy in it.
Coffee break in the morning and afternoon. :)

Had some time to go back to our rooms before having our very own alfresco fine-dining dinner!
Setting, appetiser, soup, sorbet, main course, dessert and complimentary chocolates!!!!!

It was, well I can't say it's totally exquisite but, fair enough! :)
Had a little karaoke session before heading back to do tutorials. SIGH.

On the third day there, again, we had our buffet breakfast.

Showing the other section that they have, dedicated to making omelet, scramble eggs, and any sort of eggs!
Finally, FBM lectures are done with, for the week and it was time for IHRO!
I love how jolly Ms Chen always is and the was she talk while conducting lessons!
Morning's coffee break, lunch, dessert and afternoon's coffee break.

Since our FBM lecturers left that morning, we have been enjoying our meals to the max!
Eating messily, making all sorts of noise and even disregarding all the table etiquette required of us. Hehe.
Had a tour of the hotel, and all the grand rooms that they had.
The presidential suite was majestic! It was crazy huge! EVEN BIGGER THAN MY WHOLE HOUSE!

Dinner for that night was penne pasta for appetiser and a whole stretch of food the other side plus dessert!!!!

I love how they present their dessert. It is always so damn appealing and I just can't resist cake.
I could have all the cake I ever wanted and I DID. It's amazing. :)
We even sang and danced in the 'restaurant' over dinner because there were literally no more rules!
Temporary exemption. Hehe.

Our immersion was coming to an end now that it's the fourth day of our trip.
Started once again with..... yup, the buffet breakfast. HEHE.

PS: My lens fogged up from our cold room thus the pictures had some 'special effect'. Lol.
Another 2 sections of the breakfast setting.
Carried on with IHRO lecture where we had to do our short skid that we practiced the night before.
It was super retarded and we went out of point :(
Morning's coffee break was this fruit tart that was so a-fucking-mazing!!!!!!
While afternoon's coffee break was spring roll and mushroom quiche that looked horrendous.

Since our FBM lecturers came back, particularly Mr Ron, we had to be all poise over our meals again. :(
He's not that strict but I'm pretty damn sure he doesn't like me. LOL.
For lunch that day was a Chinese 8-course-meal set. It is pretty good.
But by that time I had already lost my stamina to eat at such a rate! HAHA.

Back to the Pendetta where 04 was planning while 03 was preparing.
We had to put up with some role plays that night for dinner and it was crazy!
03 were serving us that night while we were having fun of our own.

It was such a crazy events of problems that rose one after another. HAHA.
Had our little own fun time that night and managed to try this concoction Kim's Alex told me about!
Jumping all over the beds that night while I laid in a corner and watch. LOL.
An epic scene which may not be so clear that night.

The fifth day came, technically it was the last day there, sad to say.
The fun and everything just began but the trip was ending. :(
Had our buffet breakfast, as you all know. Becoming our routine.

The salad bar, fruits and cereal! :)
Every morning waking up to such good food is heavenly.
That afternoon was my turn at serving and got Samuel and CJ - the two drunkards. LOL.
It was hilarious but stressing at the same time! Good experience, well enough.

Had a few great laughs here and there but the thought that it is being assessed make me jelly.
It's not the usual serving I do when I work anymore, it's about quality and having a 5-star standard! :S
Lunch was then followed up by a debrief back at Pendetta before we had our coffee break.
Our endless good food for coffee breaks are awesome in all degrees.

Morning and afternoon's coffee break. Those sandwich thingy was one of the best. Salmon..... ♥.♥
Another thing about this trip is that every single day, I have 2 cups of tea, AT LEAST!
Considering the fact that I barely even drink a cup in few months when in Singapore.
But it's good. :)
Had a good rest before getting on for Gala dinner that night.
A few hours to rest our tired souls while playing cards.

Gala dinner that night had a really romantic setting by the poolside. :)

Had some opening speeches, a short performance and then to our real deal.
That night, we were served Sirloin Steak, Grilled Squid, Dory Fillet, Lamp Chops and they even had their grill there!

We then had our class performance, and quite frankly my class' skid was quite boring. :/
03 did a dance and even involved some of us in it! Super cute. Hehe.
After dinner there was this small prize giving ceremony, haha, quite creative ah!
Ended that night with loads of pictures!

Taking a huge place over the bar that night playing around and mixing with 03!
All the crazy people! Heheh.

End of immersion, on departure day. Had our last breakfast and our last view of the beautiful place.

Last day to have their awesome buffet breakfast before coming home to just cereals. :(

This is the beautiful pool area that they have, which we didn't get the chance to go in, and we didn't get the chance to have a drink at the pool-bar. :<

This is one I've never mentioned, the beautiful balcony view that I wake up to every morning.
Gorgeous.

It was a short ride back to school and the weather in Singapore is a total bummer.
We needed the Pendetta room! LOL.
Overall, it was one of the best trips ever. 6d5n was adequate. :)

"

I've spent way too much time doing this post up that I've got headache now. :(
But I ought to be studying law now, so.... fighting, Sam! :(
Thursday Thursday Thursday!
